This site is operated by Epsilon Actuarial Consulting LLC (Hartford, Connecticut, USA), which develops uModel. This notice describes everything this site does with your information.
What is collected
Only what you type into the signup form, plus the technical details that arrive with it:
- your email address, and your name if you provide one;
- the date and time you signed up;
- which site the signup came from;
- your browser's user-agent string (the browser and operating system it reports).
The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, tracking, or advertising scripts. If you do not use the form, nothing about you is recorded here.
Why, and what you will receive
Signing up means occasional email about what is being built — development progress and published research. Nothing else is sent, and there is no fixed schedule; if there is nothing worth reading, nothing is sent.
Who else sees it
Your address is not sold, rented, shared, or given to anyone for their own use. Three service providers necessarily handle data on our behalf: Microsoft Azure hosts this site and stores the signup list; Microsoft 365 sends and receives our email; and the site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com), which means your browser contacts that content network when a page loads. Hosting providers and content networks keep their own server logs, which can include IP addresses, under their own retention policies — we do not store your IP address in the signup record.
Removing yourself
Reply "unsubscribe" to any email, or write to David@epsilonmodels.com, and your address is deleted from the list — promptly, and in any event within ten business days. You may also ask what is held about you, or ask for it to be corrected. There is no cost and no form to fill in.
How long it is kept
Until you ask for removal, or until the list is retired.
